Retro Look that honors the legendary Americana B-Ball-Shoe.

The adidas Americana first appeared in the 1970s on the basketball courts of the ABA. The blue red adidas stripes matched the ABA’s colours perfectly.

The Americana has been through some changes over the years. The early models had a mesh upper with a leather toe box, whilst those of the mid-1970s featured a half suede, half-shell toe box. At the tail end of the 70s, adidas produced a nylon mesh upper with a suede toe box. The Americana was reissued in 2003 in the original ABA colors.

These streetwear shoes recall the look of the legendary court crusader from the ‚70s and ‚80s. The white all-leather upper gives a soft, supple feel with the red and blue stripes. They are built for comfort with papped collar and rubber cup-sole.
